The digital collage creator and self-appointed "first social art" app, Mixel has made its way into the App Store for iPad. To create said collages you can use personal photos from a variety of sources or the options that Mixel provides. You can crop, rotate, scale, and combine photos in the app to create some pretty cool mixed media pieces. Once you've created your work of art you can post it to your profile where you will be able to share it with others via Twitter and Facebook. Like Twitter, Mixel has its own community that allows you to check out other people and follow them. We enjoyed the intuitive multi-touch gestures and how easy it is to create something personal. It's perfect to use for family collages, birthday parties, and just creating really cool art. It really is an app that is for both adults and kids alike and it's even better when used together. You can pick up Mixel for free in that App Store right now for iPad. For info make sure you visit Mixel.cc and watch the video below.
