Hipstamatic Goes Country With The New Nashville HipstaPak
November 3, 2011
Hipstamatic customers take note; a new HipstaPak has arrived called Nashville. The $.99 add-on features a new lens and film through a collaboration with country music star Miranda Lambert.
The Nashville HipstaPak includes a lens by Lambert’s legendary rock photographer, James Minchin III. It is Minchin who photographed the scenes that are part of Lambert’s current tour and fourth album, "Four The Record."
According to the Hisptamatic product page, the James M Lens is "charcoal-mellowed like the finest whiskies," and a "fermented mashup of golden tones.” Meanwhile, the Nashville HipstaPak includes the new Rock BW Film, which is "bolder than a blast of gunpowder and sexier than black lace effect.”
With the launch of the Nashville Hipstapak, Hipstamatic also announced the company’s "Rock Photographer" contest, encouraging fans to submit pictures inspired by Minchin's photography and style and Lambert's newest album. One lucky winner will win a FlyAway to a Miranda Lambert concert to be the official photographer, giving inside access to the hottest country music concert and being able to document the experience on their iPhone and through the Hipstamatic App. The grand prize winner will be selected by Lambert herself. By our count, the Nashville Hipstapak is the eleventh pack released since the $1.99 Hipstamatic app launched in December 2009. Since then, the app has regularly been one of the top photo apps the App Store. Get it today!
