On Monday, Apple released iTunes Match, a feature that allows you to import songs from CDs or your hardrive, that Apple will then match so that they can be stored in iCloud and played on any iOS device, Mac, or PC wirelessly. Today in iOS Academy, we're going to show you how to active the feature on your iOS device. To find out how to sign up for the service go here first, then follow these steps:
That's it! You are good to go and all set up for iTunes Match on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. If you have any questions or suggestions let me know via Twitter, and make sure you read our review of Apple's new service here.
- Alright to start off you want to head into your Settings app and tap Music.
- Once you're in, you should see a new option at the very top for iTunes Match, flip the switch to on.
- Your iOS device will now start to match your music in the background, also showing you music you have the ability to download but have yet to put on your device.
