iOS Apps Gone Free: Pictorial HD, Music Player All-In-1, Chain Surfer, And More

Put your spatial reasoning skills to the ultimate test with Pictorial HD, a game that requires you to discover images in the night sky. We also have a handy all-in-one music player to replace your iPhone's music app with, and an extreme arcade game based on the fictitious sport known as chain surfing.

iPhone:

Music Player All-in-1 - Convenient Multi-function Music Player ($1.99 -> Free, 16.1 MB): Replace your iPhone's music app with this all-in-one music player. It includes a bunch of handy features that will help you enjoy your favorite music even more like auto-lyrics, gestures, a music timer, artist information, file sharing, and even a study mode. All of this is wrapped within a clean and easy to use interface.

Music Player All-in-1 - Convenient Multi-function Music Player is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 25 ratings.

Sarge ($0.99 -> Free, 81.8 MB): Play as Sarge, a take-no-prisoners killing machine, and save the inhabitants of Zephyr from an alien attack in this side-scrolling brawler. The game includes a storyline driven by comic book-like cutscenes, six action packed levels, hand-drawn artwork, and on-screen controls.

Rhythmatic ($1.99 -> Free, 21.7 MB): Rhythmatic is a rhythm game that doesn't force you to play songs you've never heard before; instead, you get to play music from your own library. The game automatically analyzes songs imported from your library and creates tap tracks for them based on an algorithm. You can customize how difficult your tap tracks are by choosing how many lanes you want to play with, whether or not holds are included, and note sensitivity.

Rhythmatic is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 189 ratings.

Universal:

Chain Surfer ($2.99 -> Free, 42.5 MB): Ever hear of chain surfing? Neither have we, but we can tell you there is a game based on this fictitious sport. Control a variety of characters as they go chain surfing and try to perform all kinds of different tricks without falling on your face. The game includes tilt, tap, and swipe controls, three modes, more than 10 different tricks, randomized levels, and Game Center integration.

Chain Surfer is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 2 ratings.

Pictorial HD ($1.99 -> Free, 70.6 MB): Discover the images that the night sky is hiding in this game of spatial reasoning. Spin massive collections of stars by sliding your finger all over the screen until you see an image. The faster you're able to discover the image, the higher your score. The game includes five environments, 150 levels, two modes, and Game Center integration.

iPad:

Curlington HD ($0.99 -> Free, 21.3 MB): An arcade game that takes the stone-sliding sport known as curling to a whole new level. To slide a stone in the game, simply swipe with a single finger, or with multiple fingers for more power, towards your target. The idea is to get your stone to stop sliding in the center of the target. The game features realistic physics, special stones, intuitive gesture controls, and Game Center integration.

Curlington HD is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 63 ratings.

Alpha Command ($2.99 -> Free, 43.5 MB): This genre-mashing arcade game requires you to destroy approaching enemy spaceships before they reach your shield. You're able to destroy spaceships by matching their target colors with your own colored bars at the bottom of the screen. You can also fire an ultra beam when in trouble by tapping and holding on the screen with two fingers, but be aware that it needs to recharge before being used again. The game includes randomly generated levels, three difficulty levels, and Game Center integration.
