Jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 Beta 2 With Redsn0w

If you haven't heard, there is good news for those experiencing battery issues with the iPhone 4S, or other iDevices after updating to iOS 5. And there is even better news for those with jailbroken iDevices running iOS 5. Apple just released iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 to registered developers, and according to Dev Team member, MuscleNerd (via his Twitter), it can still be jailbroken with Redsn0w.
The jailbreak is still tethered, of course, and currently unavailable for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 for now. That may not be as much of a problem now, thanks to a jailbreak tweak called Semi-Tether, which allows your jailbroken iDevice running iOS 5 to boot up without needing to be connected to a computer. I should also reiterate that the newly released firmware is only available to registered developers and won't be released publicly for "a few weeks."
It's safe to assume that an iPhone 4S and iPad 2 jailbreak won't be available any time soon, since the new firmware is still in beta form and any exploits found can be patched by Apple before public release, but one can dream, right?
