Help DuDu Go Home In This Physics-Based Action Game
Dudu Go Home ($2.99) by InfiWorks Inc. is part physics puzzler, part action game in which you must help the DuDus get back home through the portals. There are two differently themed stages of which you can play with a total of 32 levels.
To play, put your finger on the DuDus and roll them towards the goal, or portal, at the end of the level to complete it. Along the way, collect stars and avoid falling off of platforms. If you fall, it's game over.
This game brings many physics components and mechanics into play. There are certain objects you can drag around the screen to place where the DuDu needs them (e.g., a trampoline). Also, some levels have ropes you need to cut, multiple DuDus, and more obstacles.
DuDu Go Home is seemingly just a bad mashup of Cut the Rope and Roll in the Hole. It's not anything new or creative and you must be so precise with the controls that it really isn't that easy to play.
The curious, and despicable, thing about DuDu Go Home is that it's $2.99 and yet comes with iAds. In my opinion, you should never have ads unless your app is free. Although the graphics are nice, the ads really distract and take away from them.
Hold off on this one, folks. The game concept is nothing new and paying for an app with ads just isn't worth it, in my opinion.
