The iOS Academy: Getting Rid Of Notification Banners

In today's iOS Academy we discuss how to get rid of the notification banners that pop down for what seems like an abnormal length of time in iOS 5. I know when I'm playing multiplayer games in iOS (i.e., Fruit Ninja HD) and a banner appears it does tend to be a bit distracting, but here's good news, we're going to solve that very problem. What you want to do, when a notification banner pops down from the top of your device, are one of these two things:

1. You can just swipe from right to left on the notification banner (as shown below).
2. When the notification banner drops down, you slightly pull down on the banner then quickly flick it upwards.
