The Popular News App Hitpad Releases An Impressive Update In Version 2.0

Hitpad, a popular newsreader app, has just received a wonderful update. Several months ago, we wrote a review of Hitpad and overall felt it was a decent app. Now, it is even better. Based on feedback from both AppAdvice readers and other users, the developers have listened and made some significant changes to their app. Just to review, Hitpad provides a way for you to see what is going on in the world today. You are given a snapshot of the most recent news, sports and social networks, in an easy to navigate column format. The new update brings Hitpad to the U.K., Canada and Australia. Now, topics and news will be pulled from local information, instead of being focused on stories from the U.S. More countries will be added soon. Hitpad has also added customization features enabling you to: change the font, manage the layout of columns, and even delete them if you are not interested in the content. You can quickly navigate to related articles if you are interested in reading more on a specific topic in your column.

Other updates include: a navigation bar to explore the many features and topics in Hitpad, and new Facebook integration so you can see information from your wall and favorite pages.
