Apple Releases iOS 5.1 Beta 2 To Registered Developers - Brings The Ability To Erase Pictures From Your Photo Stream Feed

December 12, 2011
Apple has just released, to registered developers, a new beta version of the upcoming iOS 5.1 to let them test their apps with it, and help weed out all the bugs. Available now on the developer portal, this new beta brings mainly bug fixes, but also contains a very interesting and widely demanded user feature: the ability to delete single pictures from your photo stream library as noticed by MacRumors:
NEW: Photos taken using iOS 5.1 can be deleted from Photo Stream on your device and will be removed automatically from Photo Stream on your other iOS 5.1 devices. Older photos can be manually deleted from your iOS 5.1 devices.
While Photo Stream is great, this was definitely a much needed feature, and can save you from embarrassing situations. Furthermore, we'll have to see if this new version finally fixes some of the many iOS 5 battery issues some users have been experiencing. As usual, we'll keep you posted on any other new features that are discovered.
