NCAA bowl season may already be underway, but the best games are yet to be played. To make sure you're up on who's playing whom--and privy to all the history and trivia behind the many match-ups and rivalries--The Daily is offering football fans this comprehensive iPad guide. In a(n obvious) partnership with Fox Sports, the College Bowl Guide 2011-2012 features loads of exclusive content, including game predictions, interviews, analyses, videos, photos, highlights, quizzes, and more. The app is easy to use, featuring chronological coverage of each team playing between now and the BCS championship tilt. The page layouts are all vibrant, their animations slick; and the included high definition videos are of definite high quality. Unfortunately, though said videos are generally quick to load, the rest of College Bowl Guide typically isn't. After launching the app, you'll have to wait a bit for the many pages to populate with stories and images. Still, a minute or two later, everything's butter. (Speaking of which, you'll probably need this app, too.) College Bowl Guide is available free on the App Store. [gallery]
