iOS Apps Gone Free: Spy Mouse, Whizzers, Evertales, And More

Help Agent Squeak retrieve every last piece of stolen cheese from the evil hench-cats in Firemint's extremely popular line-drawing game, Spy Mouse. We also have a genre-mashing endless distance game, and a 3D side-scroller from the creators of Avalon and Trenches.

iPhone:

Pushups Coach ($1.99 -> Free, 2.7 MB): Work on building your upper body strength with this fitness app. The app is able to build a pushup training schedule based on your profile stats. During your workouts you'll hear audio cues, and see your elapsed time and how many calories you have burned. Afterwards you can view your progress in text and graph form in the journal menu. The app also includes the ability to add multiple profiles, the ability to customize your workouts, descriptions for each of the 10 pushup types, and the ability to create reminders.

Shopping To-Do Pro (Grocery List) ($0.99 -> Free, 6.7 MB): This productivity app allows you to create grocery lists quickly and easily. When adding items to your list you can designate a category, name the item, set a price and quantity, and the app will automatically calculate the total with tax. The app also includes clean animations, an overview of the total amount for your whole list, the ability to rearrange lists, and reminders.

Shopping To-Do Pro (Grocery List) is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 319 ratings.

SPY mouse ($0.99 -> Free, 125.4 MB): This bite-sized line-drawing adventure game has you playing as a super-secret operative known only as Agent Squeak, and your job is to recover all of the cheese that the evil hench-cats have stolen from you. In each of the over 70 levels you'll have to guide Agent Squeak passed his feline foes without getting noticed by drawing paths all around the screen. The game also includes six worlds, power-ups, and stat tracking and achievements via EA's own online service. **This deal may not be valid in all countries.**

Tires of Fury ($0.99 -> Free, 205.9 MB): Speed around 12 different tracks and try to claim first place in this 3D monster truck racing game created by two brothers, ages seven and six. You're able to steer the mammoth vehicles by tilting your device, and any power-ups you pick up can be unleashed on your opponents by tapping the big red button of death. The game includes four environments, six upgradable monster trucks, and local and online multiplayer.

Whizzers ($0.99 -> Free, 18.8 MB): This genre-mashing endless running game has you traveling through procedural environments in order to find and rescue other Whizzers, which are able to give you special powers. Tapping the right side of the screen will not only cause your Whizzer to jump but also allow it to climb walls. Tapping the left side will stop your Whizzer in its tracks, allowing you to avoid traps and other obstacles. The game includes all kinds of unlockable items to customize your Whizzer with, soft-body physics, and online multiplayer via Game Center.

Whizzers is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 30 ratings.

Evertales ($1.99 -> Free, 105.4 MB): A 3D side-scrolling platform game by the creators of Aralon and Trenches. Guide your heroes through all kinds of beautiful environments and take out everyone and everything in your way. You're able to switch between the three characters at any time to best utilize their abilities. The game includes epic boss battles, two control schemes, character customization, 20 upgradable weapons, AirPlay and iCloud support, and Game Center integration.

Evertales is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 140 ratings.

Age of Pinballs ($0.99 -> Free, 97.3 MB): A gorgeous and finely crafted pinball game that includes seven different tables and spans two separate eras. You can choose to play the classic game of pinball or go with one of the other four challenging modes. The game also includes simple tap, swipe, and shake controls, eight camera views, realistic physics, and Game Center integration.

Age of Pinballs is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 1130 ratings.

VidRhythm ($1.99 -> Free, 18.1 MB): From the creators of Rock Band and Dance Central, this nifty app allows you to make your own video remixes in a snap. First you must pick from one of the 30 songs, and then you'll be asked to create audio and video samples for each beat. Once complete, you can choose from a variety of video styles and have VidRhythm mash it all together to create one awesome video remix. It's also probably worth mentioning that VidRhythm was Apple's "iPhone App of the Year" runner-up.

VidRhythm is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 198 ratings.

Curvebot Evolved ($0.99 -> Free, 5.0 MB): Take control of Curvebot and try to cut away at least 80% of the 3D environments in this QIX-inspired cutting game. Curvebot speeds around the outside of each environment until you tap both arrows to cut into the middle. Just watch out for the other bots because running into them will force you to start over. The game includes two modes, 72 levels, 12 worlds, and Game Center integration.

Curvebot Evolved is available for free today only (12/13). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 91 ratings.

Freefall Time ($0.99 -> Free, 16.4 MB): A simple but effective educational game that's meant to help your child learn how to tell time. The game includes four different time-telling modes that will have your child dragging clocks, times, and clock hands around the screen. You can also choose from five different minute increments to change the difficulty and better suit your child's abilities.

Freefall Time is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 2 ratings.
