Jewish Days, iHanukkah, And Super Dreidel, Israel Edition Giveaway

While researching and writing the AppList, Apps For A Fabulous Hanukkah, I ended up with a few extra iPhone/iPod touch promo codes to share with our readers. First, there’s Jewish Days. This amazing app will help you keep track of ALL the Jewish holidays, major and minor. Jewish Days will tell you how many days until the holiday, a brief description of what the holiday is all about, and the link to Wikipedia in case you want more detailed information. You can even export the Jewish Holidays right into your calendar from this app! In the settings, you decide if you want the minor holidays included or just the major ones. You can also toggle on and off the Diaspora Days and Israel Holidays. The years go up to 2016, so you can really plan ahead. As mentioned in the AppList, iHanukkah from Behrman House is an educational app designed to help you learn the Hanukkah blessings. With flash cards, a matching game, and the ability to record yourself chanting the prayers, it's a nice app to own. I have one copy to give away.
Next up, there’s Super Dreidel, Israel Edition. As we know, the letters on the dreidel in Israel are a little bit different than the ones in the Diaspora. In Israel, the letters Nun, Gimmel, Hey and Pey represent the Hebrew sentence, “Nes gadol hayah poh”, or “A great miracle happened here”. In the Diaspora, of course, the final word is “sham”, (represented by the letter Shin) which means “there”.
