You Make What, Is Simple Salary Fun

You Make What (Free) by MFG Productions is a simple "fun fact" app that lets users learn more about their salaries. You Make What is designed as a novelty app, and not a serious calculator for salary earnings.

Users plug in their occupation, and yearly salary to find out interesting facts. The app then calculates how much the person would make while doing different activities. For example, if Joe Businessperson makes $58,000.00 a year, he earns $13.24 while watching a movie, $0.66 while a raindrop is falling to earth, $232.00 for a full business day, etc. There are sixteen different fun fact calculations for every salary.

Aside from the fun facts, You Make What also has a wealth calculator. This stopwatch styled calculator shows earnings second by second using the same salary used for the fun facts. Just tap start and watch the earnings roll in, or not, depending on the salary.

You Make What is an extremely simple app. Users only have to enter values into two fields and the app does all the rest.

Although the You Make What is fun at first, it quickly becomes old; the replay value is quite low. I would recommend that developers add more fun facts and features to the app. In the wealth timer tab, they should also add a seconds icon to show how much time has elapsed, as well as the earnings.

Overall, You Make What is simple and funny at first, but quickly becomes boring. If you’re looking for a quick laugh check it out, but don’t expect entertainment for hours.
