Quirky App Of The Day: Smackie ChatBot

Now that humans have all but handed over all need for interaction to Siri, there are a lot of imitation apps popping up. Most of them are just for fun. A few are actually serious about picking up the slack in becoming an office assistant. This isn't one of those apps. This is just a fun little app that intelligently answers questions that you ask. In my line of work, I run into many apps that are only a few random answers, no matter what the question. To have Smackie ChatBot actually answer my questions in a way that doesn't insult me or my mother is actually an improvement.
He's definitely not Siri. He's male for one thing. However, his cute little monotone voice makes me think fondly of my ATM and a toy voice distorter all in one. I'm also going to point out that the app thumbnail looks like Frieza from Dragon Ball. Although, he's not as sexually ambiguous.
You can ask him anything from what his gender is to whether or not he'll be taking over the world. You can tell jokes or make horrible references to Sky Net. While it's not a perfect app, it's still fun to play with. Again, it doesn't insult me. So, my attention span is more sustained than with most other apps.
