The Pigs Will Finally Get Their Revenge, Plus A Chance To Win
The Hungry Pigs ($0.99) by Tocamobi is a fun new casual arcade game with spinning pigs and irritated fowl. Tilt and tap your way through this piggy adventure and see how good your reaction time is.
The pigs got a bad rap. They weren’t doing anything that nature wasn’t intending them to do. They get hungry. Bird eggs are delicious. This game gives the starved swine a chance to tell their side of the story. There are no sling shots or tumbling towers, just some high jumping, egg munching pigs who are trying to stay alive.
The hungry little oinkers are trying to find some eggs. They will face obstacles like spiky moving platforms, crushing boulders and spiteful birds. When the level starts one of the pigs begins to roll. Use tilt controls to steer it across the course to the prized eggs. The pig will steamroll trees, blocks and other hurdles in order to get to the eggs. There is a bouncy platform that the pig uses to project itself into the air high enough to avoid crashing into spikes, or to get on top of things. The pig will gain special extra-high jumping capabilities when the screen is tapped. There are birds that fly in and out of nowhere poking the pig into a puff of smoke.
The Hungry Pigs, while easy to play, is particularly difficult to conquer. Players must have good reaction time to tilt the pig in the correct direction without going too far. It is definitely not the kind of game to play while pretending to be processing orders at work. This game requires skill, attention and patience.
Overall, this casual game, which mixes arcade and puzzle gameplay, is entertaining and addictive. Players will love the cute graphics and references to another game involving pigs and birds. At the low price of only $0.99, this game is sure to be a big hit in the App Store.
