Visit Apple's New Retail Store Without Stepping Foot In Grand Central Station

December 13, 2011
Apple’s most impressive Retail Store to date is now open in New York City’s historic Grand Central Station. However, you don’t actually have to be in the Big Apple to experience the new store. To celebrate the launch of its newest (and largest) store, Apple has setup a Grand Central Station Apple Store page on its website. Included are a number of breathtaking photos and a 360-degree panorama. Best of all, the panorama reacts to iDevices with built-in gyroscopes. In other words, as you move around the iPhone or iPad, so too will the panorama. First uncovered by TNW, this feature works on the iPhone 4/4S, iPad 2, and fourth-generation iPod touch. To view the panorama, visit the Grand Central website and then click on “View More Photos.” From there, select the 360-degree panorama at the bottom right. Click on the photo and then start moving around your iDevice, or use your finger. Enjoy!
