CES 2012: Old Is New Again With ePure iPhone Home System

January 13, 2012
Ever since Lenny Kravitz was spotted sporting this old-school handset tethered to his iPhone, the style has been gathering steam. Expanding on that theme, Swissvoice has finally released their forever-in-incubation ePure system. While details were scarce at the company's CES booth, Swissvoice's product website describes its features a little bit better. Basically, when you get past its unique, art deco looks, the thing operates no differently than a regular household telephone, save that it also routs calls from your iPhone and packs in a bass-rich loudspeaker. ePure comes in four colors (black, white, red, tan) and is available soon for $199. (A matching answering machine is scheduled for launch in Q2 2012.) Fancy, sure, but pricey. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
