CES 2012: OtterBox Unveils The New Livestrong And Realtree Cases
January 11, 2012
Yesterday OtterBox, makers of the toughest iDevice cases around, unveiled their latest designer products. The star of the line-up? The Livestrong silicone skin polycarbonate shell case for the iPhone 4 and 4s. Created in partnership with Radio Shack, a portion of the proceeds of every case sale will go towards Radio Shack’s $5 million fund for the Livestrong foundation.
Expected to retail for $39, the Livestrong case is not the first venture OtterBox has made into supporting cancer research. In 2010, in partnership with the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade, OtterBox released the Pink is Strength line of designer cases. The commitment comes from deep within OtterBox, as stated on their Web site:
"These cases were inspired from within the ranks of OtterBox. Many of us have stood beside a loved one who has faced the challenge of breast cancer and it is for them that we created these Artist cases."Also on display is the Realtree® case, designed to blend in with woodlands, this case is perfect for bird watchers, wildlife photographers and other outdoor enthusiasts. The Defender Case with Realtree® is currently available on the OtterBox Web site for $59
