CES 2012: Targus Cases, Stands And The Amazing iNotebook

January 11, 2012
This year at CES, Targus debuted some nice products. We were able to experience some of these products, and thought you’d like to check them out as well. The SpinPad was the first product we got to see. It has a hard shell design with a built in stand that works with the iPad 2. You can hang it, swivel it, or just hold it with your hand — it acts as a mount for the iPad 2. The SpinPad will be released in about two weeks and sells for $59. Next up, the Versavu. This product isn’t new, but now comes in more colors. It is a keyboard case and stand for the iPad 2. There is a hole in the case, allowing you to showcase the Apple logo on your device, and it also lets you flip the case around and use it in portrait mode to type. It’s microsuede on the inside, and pleather on the outside and comes in two colors: a white/blue and a black, with more colors coming soon. The Versavu with keyboard is $99, and $49 without the keyboard. The last product shown to us by Targus was the iNotebook: a leather folio case that measures 8.5-by-11 inches. It works via Bluetooth; you utilize a special pen to write on a notepad which then transfers your writing to the iPad. The app that does this is absolutely free. You can even organize the documents and store them. This is currently in the prototype phase, so we’re sure the design will change from the product we saw yesterday, becoming a bit more polished. The iNotebook will be debuting in July, and will cost $149. This will be great for students going back to school, and also artists. That’s it for Targus at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show! Which of these products are you most interested in?
