One of the amazing things we got to see at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) today was a new product from the people at Nest Labs.
Meet the Nest Learning Thermostat. It is exactly what it says it is: a thermostat that learns from your habits. It’s a wonderfully innovative device that will be highly sought after in today’s high tech world.
The Nest Thermostat learns your habits in just one week of use. Once it understands that you like it very cool at night, and much warmer during the day, it will adjust itself to you schedule. And, to conserve energy, it will learn when to adjust itself when you’re not at home — when you don’t need to be spending money warming up the house. This amazing thermostat will even begin to adjust for the specific seasons automatically, once it knows the pattern.
Not enough for you? You can even control the Nest Thermostat using your mobile device. The iOS app used to control the nest device is available in the App Store for free.
