iGLASSES (Free) by Green Cloud is a fun way to see what you would look like with glasses on. It is also a way to put shades on your cat, or make Brad Pitt look nerdy. The entertainment is limitless with this quirky little app.
To get started, either take a picture from within the app or select a photo from the device’s camera roll. A silhouette of the glasses will appear when taking a photo making it easy to line up the shot.
Once the photo has been selected, choose from 14 different pairs of eyewear, including some funny cartoon eyes and a pair of goofy goggles. Give the device a shake for a random pick. Additional designs totaling more than 100 glasses can be bought for only $0.99 through an in-app purchase.
The size, position and angle of the eyewear can be adjusted by tapping the image. If your cat wasn’t being very cooperative and the best image you could get was of him trying to get away, the glasses can be moved around, made smaller or even tilted.
Newly fitted images can be shared with friends and family through Facebook and Twitter, or sent directly through email. When photos are saved, they are stored in the app’s Glasses Album for future use.
