iOS Apps Gone Free: Snoticles, Play It, Piano Notes Pro, And More

Play as Zit, Dread, Spark, and Snot and help them defend their home world from the ugly Blots in Adult Swim's physics-based puzzle game, Snoticles. We also have a beautifully simple music player, and an app that will help you practice reading notes.

Touch Rummy ($2.99 -> Free, 5.2 MB): Be the first person to clear your rack in this 3D tile rummy game. You're able to place tiles onto the board by simply touching and dragging them from your rack. You can create sets two ways: by grouping tiles of the same numerical value with different suits, or by grouping tiles with consecutive numerical values with the same suits. The game includes single and multiplayer modes, undo, multiple themes, and stat tracking.

Dogs Playing Poker ($1.99 -> Free, 52.5 MB): Play a game of Texas Hold 'em as one of the dogs in this card game. You're able to create your own dog and interact with 19 others by tapping and swiping your finger on the screen. Unlock new breeds of dogs by winning tournaments. The game includes a full tutorial, tells for each dog, and OpenFeint integration.

You can choose whether you want a 12- or 24-hour clock displayed, and then just wait for each minute to go by to see a new photo. You can also switch between the four different channels if you don't want to wait for the photo to change automatically. The app allows you to save photos to your library, or share them via Twitter or email.

Snoticles ($0.99 -> Free, 80.9 MB): Help the Snoticles defend their home by lobbing different types of ammunition at the Blots in this physics-based puzzle game by Adult Swim. You're able to determine the trajectory and power of your shot by simply dragging your finger on the screen. You are equipped with a limited amount of ammo, but if it returns to you after a shot, you're able to use it again. The game includes four characters with different types of ammunition, five worlds, 50 levels, and Game Center integration.

Play It ($0.99 -> Free, 1.6 MB): This simple and clean music player allows you to control your tunes with basic gestures. The customizable interface clearly displays all of the artists, songs, albums, genres, podcasts, and audiobooks on your iDevice. Once you've chosen something to play, you can swipe up, down, left, and right to control your audio. The interface can also be navigated with gestures. The app includes iCloud and AirPlay integration, search, shuffle, custom colors, and more.

Piano Notes Pro ($2.99 -> Free, 39.5 MB): Practice reading notes with this digital piano app. You can just smash away at the keys at your own pace to see their note and pitch names, or you can choose to take on four different quizzes. The app includes a customizable interface that allows you to view color-coded keys and change the keyboard size. It also includes multiple user profiles, the ability to customize quizzes, local high scores, three help modes, and much more.

Piano Notes Pro is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 156 ratings.

The Line HD ($1.99 -> Free, 40.9 MB): A platform game of sorts where you must draw and erase lines to help Eddy, a line-confined creature, reach the end of each level. You're able to utilize a variety of objects and spells to help Eddy avoid hazards as well. The game includes two modes, 165 levels, and Game Center integration.

The Line HD is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 159 ratings.
