iOS Apps Gone Free: Virtual City, Gyro Draw, Hell's Kitchen VS, And More

GolfWeather.com ($1.99 -> Free, 1.1 MB): Quickly discover what the conditions are like at your favorite golf courses with this weather app. You're able to search for courses by country, name, and region. Your favorite courses can be stored for easy access as well. Each listing displays temps, wind speeds and direction, precipitation chances and totals, and a overall ratings throughout the day. The app also supports metric and imperial units.

Virtual City (Full) ($4.99 -> Free, 62.1 MB): Build and manage your very own city in this simulation game from G5. As mayor, you'll be tasked with everything from sending vehicles on delivery routes to upgrading buildings. The game includes 50 levels in five states, two modes, 18 mission scenarios, 25 types of goods to transport, more than 50 building types, and Game Center integration.

Gyro Draw ($1.99 -> Free, 5.7 MB): Put your iDevice's built-in gyroscope to good use with this drawing app. Instead of drawing with the tip of your finger, you'll be drawing with hand movements. Tap and hold on the bottom of the screen to engage your iDevice's Gyrscope, and then just tilt it all around to draw. You can also move your pencil around the screen without drawing by simply tapping and dragging on any other portion of the screen. The app includes 16 colors to choose from, seven paper types, and customizable drawing speed and thickness.

Neon Thrust ($1.99 -> Free, 9.5 MB): A simple but surprisingly addictive action puzzle game that requires you to jet around environments collecting neons and power crystals, and then trying to escape before the clock hits zero. You're able to guide your character around the screen using a directional pad and thrust button. The game includes 60 levels, three-star ratings for each level, and Game Center integration.

Happy Pillars ($0.99 -> Free, 11.2 MB): A relatively simple matching puzzle game that requires you to slide tiles from side to side in order to connect them. The more tiles you connect, the more points you will receive. Tapping on connected tiles will remove them from the board. The game features two modes, four backdrops, and Game Center integration.

Hell's Kitchen VS ™ ($0.99 -> Free, 23.9 MB): A time management game based on the popular TV show, Hell's Kitchen. Compete in head-to-head duels with AI or human chefs and prove you have the best cooking chops. The game includes three modes, simple tap and drag controls, customizable match options, and commentary from the one and only Gordon Ramsay.
