iTunes U App Announced For Both Students and Teachers

Following today's big announcements Apple concluded today's New York City event with a new app: iTunes U. The app allows teachers to take full control of a digital classroom environment by sharing course syllabuses and post assignments for students. Students have the ability to check off completed assignments as well as take and highlight notes made in iBooks 2. The app also gives students access to course material, presentations and other related documents. The iTunes U app also provides access to over 500,000 free lectures, books and resources from the most reputable universities in the world, including, MIT, Berkeley, Yale and Harvard. The app is available for free in the App Store for all iOS devices.
