Jailbreak For iPhone 4S And iPad 2 To Be Released Next Week?

There has been a lot of great news for the jailbreak community recently thanks to iOS hacker, @pod2g. An untethered jailbreak solution for iDevices (excluding the iPhone 4S and iPad 2) running iOS 5.0.1 was recently released. Shortly thereafter, his work on the exploit for the iOS 5.0.1 untether was applied to Seas0nPass, which now provides an untethered jailbreak solution for second generation Apple TVs running 4.4.4 firmware. Unfortunately, iPhone 4S and iPad 2 owners have been left out all this jailbreak goodness.
However, that may change in the coming days. As @pod2g stated on Twitter:
I made a step today for the A5. With some luck we could expect a release in a week. The A5 chip, which is exclusive to the iPhone 4S and iPad 2, has proven difficult for jailbreakers to exploit. Luckily, where there's a will, there's a way, and @pod2g sure has a will. As always, we'll keep you posted on the matter. Personally, I can't wait for an iPhone 4S jailbreak, especially with all the neat iOS 5 tweaks out there. Will you be watching the clock for an A5 device jailbreak?
