Macworld 2012: The Neat Company Expands Its Digital Filing System With The Addition Of NeatMobile And NeatCloud

January 30, 2012
The Neat Company’s NeatDesk and NeatReceipts products have been available for quite some time, but the company is planning on releasing a complementary cloud-based digital filing system later this year, which incorporates the newly released NeatCloud and NeatMobile. NeatDesk and NeatReceipts are document scanners that allow you to scan your receipts, business cards, and more to keep track of your important papers and contacts. These scanners eliminate the need for space-consuming filing cabinets and messy papers, plus with all of your documents in digital form on your computer, you’ll be more organized than ever.

With the new mobile app and cloud system, anything that you scan with NeatDesk or NeatReceipts will be stored in the cloud and will be accessible on all of your computers and devices, so all of your information is at your fingertips at any time. NeatMobile will also allow users to utilize the iPhone’s camera to scan documents on the go. Taking a picture of a business card or a receipt will send it directly to your digital filing system. And the best part? You don’t need to own NeatDesk or NeatReceipts to use the mobile app to keep track of your data, making the entire system affordable for everyone. NeatDesk ($399.95) and NeatReceipts ($199.95) are available right now from The Neat Company’s website. The new offerings, NeatCloud and NeatMobile, will be released in the spring of 2012. Pricing for the cloud service and the app will be announced at that time. Check out our video below for a demo of the NeatMobile app: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aGN4NQxp2bM&feature=relmfu
