Blow Up Evil Water Hogging Cacti And Rehydrate The World In Sploosh
Sploosh ($0.99) by Spooky Moon Studio Limited is a cute and casual puzzle game that’s perfect for everyone in the family. In the game, you will help Bazzil the bee and his friends defeat the evil cactus people, who have drained the world of its water.
The main goal is to get the water back from the cacti and distribute it across the parched land using tilt motion controls on your iOS device. Each level will start out with a cactus to pop, which is quite fun to do.
From there, the water stored in the cactus is swished around the level, bringing plants back to life and restoring the lush green color to the area. The level ends when the final tree has been brought back to life.
To score three stars, you need to restore the water in each level as fast as possible, since there’s always a goal time. It’s also important to turn all of the areas green, and to tap any seeds in the level to cause them to grow.
I normally tend towards disliking tilt motion games, but the controls in Sploosh are not bad at all. The water goes in the direction you tilt, and laying your device flat causes the water to float upwards. This allows you to hit even inaccessible spots without a problem.
It’s easy to control the flow and the speed of the water to hit all areas, and I think this is a game that even young children could learn to master.
Of course, since it is a game that’s so easy, it may not be of particular interest to serious gamers, especially since it is awfully short with only 12 levels.
The adorable graphics and the bright colors coupled with the simple gameplay make this a good choice for casual gamers, and hopefully, updates will be added to make it a more worthwhile purchase.
