Quirky App Of The Day: Ninja Builder

Recently, I reviewed an app about smashing things. Today, I'm balancing that review with an app that's about building things. In fact, it's about building ninjas. While I would love to use Ninja Builder to amass my own, personal army of ninjas who would do my bidding, I'm fine with only being able to build one ninja at a time. One ninja should be enough to crawl stealthily into my kitchen and retrieve a sandwich while remaining undetected. Really, that's all I would want my ninja army to do. I'm not all that imaginative.
Ninja Builder provides you with an adorable ninja to customize. While he's adorable, I'm sure he's still lethal. I'll at least endeavor to pretend that he's still lethal. Whether choosing which color to use for his uniform or which weapon he will battle evil with, this little guy is yours to customize entirely. You can save, load and share your creation with others. Basically, you can do anything you want except send him to the moon. Well, at the least the real moon. I prefer to dress him up as a cook on a bright sunny day.
While the basic app is free, there's locked content that becomes magically unlocked once money changes hands. When I think of it that way, it's almost like I'm bribing virtual guards to release content to my phone. I don't negotiate with kidnappers, extortionists or blackmailers. Therefore, it's against my personal code to purchase them.
Ninja Builder is an iPhone app available in the App Store for the awesome price of FREE! Well, until you pay the ransom for the locked content.
