Quirky App Of The Day: Smashed

I like breaking things. There is something satisfying in seeing an object shattered to pieces. Of course, the thrill isn't there when it's, say, an expensive phone or laptop. Especially when its my expensive phone or laptop. That's a tragedy. Well, what do you do when you get an itch to hear the tinkling of glass, the shattering of porcelain, or the sizzle of recently busted circuits? You scratch that itch with an app. Smashed does quite the job.
Of course, Smashed doesn't set up objects for you to break in real life. That would be amazing. It's also not feasible. However, it does a rather good job with sound effects. Whether you want to smash through TVs, light bulbs or dinner plates, you can obliterate these items to your hearts content, and then some. Smashed also features a timed test of reflexes. While I was a little disappointed that it didn't involve actually breaking anything, I still had fun seeing how fast I could react. The aim of the game is to turn out the light bulb that flashes on. The game keeps track of how long you've been playing, your most recent reaction time as well as your best reaction time.
Smashed is a universal app available in the App Store for the awesome price of FREE!
