Spring draws nearer with every day, and warmer temperatures mean more fun outdoors. Whether it's camping, or just a day at the beach, Grace Digital's Eco Terra Boombox ($149.99) will keep your iDevice safe while it keeps your tunes loud.
The Eco Terra Boombox is shock resistant, waterproof, and has enough buoyancy to keep your music in the air instead of the water. In fact, when submerged, the boombox will float and automatically rotate to keep two 3-inch speakers pointed up. Its shell is a tough polycarbonate enhanced by rubberized impact bumpers. The Eco Terra Boombox comes with a shoulder strap, as well as several carabiner clips you can use to attach it to a boat, kayak, tree, etc. Four C-cell batteries should provide up to 25 hours of use, or you can use the included AC wall charger for endless usage.
Greg Fadul, CEO of Grace Digital Audio, states:
The outdoor elements are the Achilles’ heel of today’s mobile electronics. A splash of water or grain of sand can completely destroy your smartphone. Like the boomboxes of old, the Eco Terra packs an audio punch allowing your music to play anywhere, anytime and now without fear of the 4 extremes: water, dirt, snow, and shock!Imagine playing Marco Polo in a pool with the Jaws theme playing. Great idea? Or, greatest idea? For more information on the Eco Terra Boombox, you can visit Grace Digital's webpage.
