Keep Planets From Escaping With 15 Planets
15 Planets ($1.99) by Ales Veluscek is an iPad-only challenging puzzle game that will have you splitting your brain in two as you try to protect planets from danger. See how long you can keep them from escaping as they spin across the universe.
The goal of the game is to keep one or more planets from traveling off the screen. To do so, players must draw a line that acts as a barrier, which they bounce off of. The more times a line is drawn, the lower the point score is.
In addition to keeping the planets on the screen, players must avoid different obstacles, like black holes or asteroids. Sometimes, multiple planets must be kept on screen, but cannot touch each other without exploding.
While avoiding black holes may seem like enough of a challenge to most, the developers of this game decided to make it even harder. Some levels require players to collect galaxies as well. These tasks must be completed within a certain number of seconds, usually 30 or 45.
The graphics are beautiful and the strangely colorful planets spin smoothly through space with realistic movement. There are 24 levels to complete, each with a stunning backdrop that looks as though it came straight from NASA’s archives.
Overall, 15 Planets is entertaining and very challenging. The realistic space-themed background images are beautiful and the design is nicely laid out. The $1.99 price tag is a bit high for only 24 levels, but the game is challenging enough to keep you playing for hours. Pick it up in the App Store today.
