SprintTV For iOS App Arrives

Sprint iPhone customers now have another reason to love their unlimited data plans. The nation’s third largest mobile carrier has announced the release of SprintTV for iOS, a free app available now in the App Store.
Powered by MobiTV, the app includes live news and sports along with popular shows from ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN, The Disney Channel and The Weather Channel, among others.
In addition, Sprint TV premium packages are also available, starting at $4.99 per month. These include Playground TV for Kids, Movie Mania, the Playboy Channel, and more.
Use of Sprint TV is included in plans with unlimited data. Sprint is the only national wireless carrier offering truly unlimited data plans for all phones, with no throttling or overages. Casual data charges of $0.03/kb and standard text messaging charges will apply to customers not on a plan with unlimited data and messaging.
