Win A Copy Of Spider Solitaire+!
February 25, 2012
Looking for something different than the typical Solitaire game known as Klondike Solitaire (or Patience, across the pond)? Have you ever tried Spider Solitaire? It’s been around for a while, and Brainium Studios has created a really nice universal version of the game called Spider Solitaire+.
Game play is fairly simple to learn, but tough to master. The basic idea is to create stacks of cards descending from king down to ace, sequentially. You play with two decks (104 cards); the easiest variation being a single suit. To increase difficulty, you can play with two or four. You can only move a card onto its next higher card. When you’ve done every move you can, you deal another round. Detailed instructions for this game are included within the app, simply by tapping the “i.”
It’s very smooth, easy on the eyes, and can be played in portrait or landscape mode. The app gives you a number of customizable theme options, including use of your own photos for the backdrop and card backs. Play both Spider and Spiderette versions of the game. Other nice features include “hint,” undo/redo, one-tap play, and Game Center integration.
So, would you like to win a copy of Spider Solitaire+? We’ve teamed with the developer to offer promo codes to five lucky readers. For your chance to win this universal app, just comment below. Be sure that you’ve registered with a valid email address, so we can contact you if you win. Winners will be selected by Sunday, Feb. 26, 5:00 p.m. EST. Good luck! If you don’t win, be sure to check out the free, ad-supported version!
