A Chance To Win A $10 iTunes Gift Card To Be Used Towards In-Game Content In Elf Defense
March 20, 2012
AppAdvice has teamed up with Jellyoasis, our latest AppAdvice Daily podcast sponsor, in order to offer you a chance to win one of 10 $10 iTunes Gift Cards. The gift cards can be used to not only purchase Jellyoasis' latest game, Elf Defense ($0.99), but they can also be used towards the purchase of in-game content.
Elf Defense is an eye-popping fixed-path tower defense game where you must help the peaceful elves defend their homeland from the invading human forces.
You're able to place your towers, or in this case, elven recruits, anywhere along your enemy's path by tapping on an open square and choosing a tower or mercenary type. For each enemy unit you take out, you'll earn coins based on their prowess, and you can use these coins to upgrade your towers during battle. Each tower has a special trait that makes them more powerful against some units while less useful against others, so it's in your best interest to get to know them.
Elf Defense also includes powerful special items like timed bombs, poison bombs, and shock balloons, which can be deployed right in your enemy's path at any time during battle. Since these items are limited, you'll only want to use them in the most dire situations.
At the end of each game you'll be awarded with holy leaves, which can be used to permanently increase your tower's attributes or you can use them to purchase additional special items. Of course, you can purchase additional holy leaves in-app with real cash instead of earning them, or you can try your hand at winning a $10 iTunes Gift Card below and upgrade all you want for free!
The game also includes a total of 100 enemy unit types to take on, two difficulty levels, three gorgeous environments, 60 levels, and leaderboards via Game Center.
