A Chance To Win Freezing Birds For iPhone And iPad

March 4, 2012
AppAdvice has teamed up with Efishocean in order to offer you a chance to win one of five promo codes for Freezing Birds ($0.99) for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. Freezing Birds is a match-three game with gameplay mechanics similar to PopCap's Chuzzle, but instead of matching big-eyed furry creatures, you're tasked with matching cute and colorful birds that have been frozen to a power line. Birds of different colors enter the screen from the top and bottom, and sometimes they will just appear out of thin air. Your job is to drag entire rows and columns of birds up, down, left, and right in order to create matches of at least three within the single ice-free row in the middle of the screen. As you progress through the game, new bird colors will be added to the mix, making it even more difficult to create matches. You'll also come across birds that are encased in blocks of ice, and you'll need to match these birds twice in order to remove them from the board. But don't worry, it's not all bad news for these little birds! Some of them are equipped with special powers like fire and electricity, and matching them with birds of the same color will remove multiple birds at once. The game includes a total of nine bird colors, a handful of power-ups, stat tracking, and Game Center leaderboards.
