Every week, our staff will handpick a game from the past seven days that we believe is a must-download for your iPhone or iPad. These games will always be from a wide variety of genres, but they are chosen because our own staff members love it and can’t quite put it down. Swordigo
Swordigo is a beautiful adventure game for your iPhone and iPad. It reminds us of The Legend of Zelda and Mario, but that’s a good thing. You will pick up your sword as a young boy who is the only hope to saving the land from the evil forces that are spreading. Along the way, you will defeat monsters and bosses for experience points and loot, all while leveling up to become to hero that everyone needs. Oh, and make sure your platforming skills aren’t rusty – you’ll need them.
The graphics in Swordigo are beautiful and will look great on your Retina iPhones and iPads. A dynamic lighting system is in place and it illuminates the gloomy atmosphere of caves and dungeons, so that you can see what is going on around you. Controls are simple and precise with a few buttons for running, jumping, and attacking. The controls are even customizable for the perfect gaming experience. If you want to play the game on multiple devices, don’t worry – iCloud sync has you covered.
This is an incredibly fun game that blends just the right amount of adventure, platformer, and RPG. Once you start playing it, you’ll find it incredibly hard to put it down. Our own
