AppFresh Daily: News.me, Heist, BaldBooth, DreamBody And More
iPhone:
Big Gun (Free, 82.2 MB): Big Gun is a Mafia-style massive online multiplayer title for iPhone. It offers swipe-based, turn-by-turn combat and is a first person game. Big Gun features over 500 items to collect, hundreds of mission scripts and a worldwide server with no rules and aims to be the best multiplayer, gangster game available.
DreamBody ($0.99, 1.7 MB): Trying to lose or gain weight? Having a tough time setting a goal? DreamBody is here to help. The app allows you to set your desired weight, snap a photo and compare results before and after reaching your target. DreamBody also offers a fantastic user interface and has a very decent price tag.
News.me for iPhone (Free, 5.8 MB): News.me is a powerful news aggregator for iPhone. The app gathers news from your friends on Twitter and Facebook and then filters the content to provide you with the most relevant news. The app also features a mobile friendly, minimalistic reader where you can share your reactions for each article. If you want to save articles to read later, News.me has an offline viewing option. Best of all, News.me can also save links you add to your Twitter favorites, something I do often.
Universal:
HEIST The Score ($0.99, 65.7 MB): Heist: The Score is a new iOS rail-shooter set in 1920s America. If you're not familiar with rail-shooters, they are games where the camera and movement is completely controlled by progression and all you have to do is aim and shoot, Rage is an example. In Heist, your objective is to successfully rob a bank, however, once you break into the vault, the job becomes quite complicated. Heist features decent 3-D graphics, destructible environments and great voice acting. Given its price, it is definitely worth checking out.
iPad:
BaldBooth HD ($0.99, 5.2 MB): BaldBooth lets you take off people's hair with a single swipe. The app even lets you make bald enhancements live and also offers auto-cropping, face detection, and skin tone adjustments. Best of all, you can share the (wacky) results on Twitter and Facebook for all your friends to see.
That’s it for today. Did we miss anything? Tell us in the comments!
