Baseball Showdown: Awesome Freestyle Baseball For iOS

While Homerun Battle 2 was fun, it got quite repeatitive after a while. However, there are no other similar titles of that quality. All of that may change with Baseball Showdown for iOS. The game, which is still being developed by Vitusoft, will give a freestyle twist to the popular, American sport. Players have the ability to create their own characters and customize them with various props and outfits. After doing so you can head to story mode or training. In Baseball Showdown, after being retired for the past 15 years you decide to pick up the sport again. You then enter a local one-on-one tournament, titled "Baseball Showdown." While there is the hint of a story here, the gameplay seems quite unique. You will both bat and pitch to defeat opponents one by one. However, it is not that simple. There are all sorts of power-ups and special moves both you and your opponent can use against each other. Additionally, you will have to master each swing as hitting the ball is not as simple as a single swipe. The game also features great, comic-style graphics and will be a universal app. While no price or release date has been announced yet, you can check out their website where the developers are posting screenshots and gameplay videos.
