Somewhere in the middle of the two falls Next! ($9.99). Next, first released about a year ago, has proven itself to be a popular app, even in this crowded market. The developers behind Next, LefTurn Labs, have just released version 1.4 of their app.
While Next is not the most feature loaded productivity app currently available, it certainly packs a far greater punch than Clear and similar apps.

The addition of Notification Center support, finally, is certainly welcome here, though the other change and fixes bring little in the way of groundbreaking features. - Notification support so you can see your Next! list in your notification center (iOS 5)
- Unlimited title length for new items
- Removed illegal characters from titles
- Persist navigation wheel settings
