Win A Copy Of Friend Or Foe!
Friend or Foe ($1.99) by MacSpots Software gives you a report of who your Facebook friends and Twitter followers are, as well as who tossed you out like last morning's coffee grinds.
Let's face it; the name of the social networking game is get as many friends and followers as possible.
Once your numbers start reaching triple digits, it gets harder to keep tabs on who has remained to keep tabs on you as well.
That's where this app comes in. Log in with your Facebook and Twitter accounts, and the app will gather information about your friends and followers.
Information such as who your friends and ex-friends are, and where they are located, is gathered together for you.
The interface is clean and pleasing to look at. Facebook is on one page, and a swipe to the next page shows you the Twitter info.
A status note sits at the top of the home screen. You can type your message in, add a photo if you'd like, and then push it out to whichever account you'd like.
While this app certainly looks promising, there are quote a few bugs to it. The Facebook side seems to work fine with listing all my friends.
However, the map section that pins the location of each of your friends only had one pin for my uncle, who lives in Illinois. The pin was tacked onto the west coast of Africa.
The Twitter side of it really felt lacking. It had identified how many followers I had, though that was it. Everything else just came up as a blank screen.
I was actually more interested in finding out who had dropped me on Twitter, since that is my larger account.
Considering how easy it is to lose friends and followers without even noticing, there is certainly a niche for this app.
However, either it is trying to deliver something it can't do, or it could just use an update to squish some of its bugs. At $1.99, that's a steep price for something not too solid.
