Snapguide, A Place To Share How-To Guides Arrives For iOS

Heavy Bits, Inc. today released its new Snapguide app for the iPhone/iPod touch. The free app offers a simple way to share and view step-by-step how-to guides.
Geared towards creative people and DIY enthusiasts alike, Snapguide provides hundreds of user-created guides on a wide range of topics including cooking, gardening, crafts, repairs, do-it-yourself projects, fashion tips, entertainment and more.
To create your own guide, snap photos and videos that describe each step of your project. From there, you’ll add captions by using voice-to-text or just type them in by hand. Once published, guides may be shared on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+. The guides are also be available on the Snapguide website.
Whether you’re a backyard beekeeper, professional chef or gardener extraordinaire, Snapguide makes sharing projects with others easy and fun.
According to co-founder Daniel Raffel, who spoke with TechCrunch:
