Square Announces Register For The iPad
March 5, 2012
Innovation and Apple products have always gone hand in hand. One company to take an Apple product and further innovate with the hardware is Square Inc. Square, founded by Jack Dorsey in May 2010, allows for iPhone users in the United States to accept credit card payments via their phone.
Today Square has announced they are looking to further their reach and usefulness to consumers and companies alike with the announcement of Register for iPad.
Register looks to revolutionize the way small businesses, and possibly all businesses, transact. Register is basically the Square payment system but designed specifically for the iPad. As you can see from the video below the system looks elegant, and above all, very powerful.

Register is more than just the Square system transferred to the iPad however. The new app will feature more analytical tools for small business owners and further tools to better manage your sales.
The tools provided by Square have empowered small business owners to run their businesses in ways that were just not possible a few years ago and, with Register, Square is looking to push this envelope even further.
Have you tried the Square system yet? I'd love to hear how Square has improved your life as a business person.
