The 360 Panorama Update To Version 4.1 Brings Some Big Improvements

March 25, 2012
The 360 Panorama ($0.99) app is popular for taking panoramic photos, and has just received a much-needed update. Version 4.1 brings some great new features, including (from the app description):
  • Captured panoramas are now autosaved to an in-app panorama list!  It's about time, huh? Use this new feature to quickly browse all of your on-device panoramas.  You can also see which panoramas you've uploaded, and which you haven't, allowing for easy uploading when you're on fast Internet.
  • Now with crisp graphics for the new iPad's Retina display.
  • Improved accuracy on iPhone 4S and iPad (3rd-generation).
  • Now you can tap to hide controls when viewing panoramas.  Try it on your iPad for an immersive view. We promise you will be impressed.
  • Now translated to German for our users in Deutschland!
  • Last but not least, we squashed a few bugs, including occasionally outdated location tags.
For those who haven't used the app, 360 Panorama allows you to create stunning panoramas by just panning your device in a circle. The photos are automatically stitched together and can be shared via Facebook, Twitter, and online. You can even use your device's gyroscope to see your finished product. You can get 360 Panorama in the App Store for $0.99. What are some of your favorite apps for panoramic photos?
