AppAdvice has teamed up with Pilcrow in order to offer you a chance to win one of 10 promo codes for Alphabeast for iPhone or iPad.
Alphabeast is an educational ABC flash card app based on The Lonely Beast, an award-winning children's book by Chris Judge. The app includes 26 brand new and fully interactive hand-drawn scenes that feature the Beast and a handful of his friends.
As you swipe through each card, a disembodied voice speaks the letter and a word that begins with the letter. Either one can be tapped on to hear it spoken again. The colorful animated scenes can also be interacted with in a wide variety of ways. The interactive items are usually pretty obvious, so your child shouldn't have much of a problem figuring them out.
Although the Beast may seem like a dark and spooky creature, he's actually a rather amusing and charming guy. It could be because he really enjoys hanging out with his friends, or maybe because he absolutely loves wearing different types of hats, but it's hard to say. You're just going to have to find out for yourself by taking the app for a spin!
