Anomaly Warzone Earth HD: Now Better Than Ever

Released at the end of last year, Anomaly Warzone Earth HD received critical acclaim. The Mac version won an Apple Design Award and the iOS version won Best Graphics at the Best App Ever Awards 2011. More importantly, perhaps, we loved it as well!
If you are a fan of the title, I have some good news for you. While Anomaly Warzone Earth HD already looked pretty impressive, developer 11 Bit Studios, has made it look even better. The team has released an update to their popular title, bringing Retina ready graphics support for the new iPad.
For those few that have not yet tried this game, it is basically a tower defense game with a twist. Calling it a tower offense game would actually be more accurate. In a tower defense game, you protect yourself against hordes of enemies. With Anomaly, you are the horde. The developer released a short trailer, at initial release, which will give you a great idea about what to expect from the game:

To celebrate the update, 11 Bit Studios has reduced the price of the HD version to $1.99 and the iPhone/iPod touch only version to just $0.99. There really is no longer an excuse to not experience the joys of Anomaly Warzone Earth HD!
