Poetry Apps
American poetry has all the classics you remember from school, plus more. It could use a little work as far as the User Interface goes, but the content is solid.
As far as discovering poetry, POETRY from the Poetry Foundation is the way to go. Easily find poetry on everything from passion, to arts and sciences. It doesn't have all the old classics, but helps you discover something new.
Once you've done some reading, you might get inspired to do some writing on your own. Poet is a an app that gives a template for writing poetry. It also helps you along with the rhyming tool, and synonym finder.
If you've never written poetry before you might need a little more help to get you going. Instant Poetry HD is a fun way to get started. Hit the plus icon to get a group of words thrown onto the screen. Start pulling and arranging the words to create poetry of your very own. It's kind of like having a writing partner. You can even choose the theme of the words they give you, like love.
