AViiQ Releases Tangle-Free Charge And Sync Cables

April 17, 2012
Tangled cords are the worst. While the problem is more apparent with earbud-style headphones, other cables you have may turn into a balled up mess when hastily thrown into a bag. Fortunately, AViiQ has just launched Ready Clips, a tangle-free way to charge and transfer data. At just 5.5 inches long, each Ready Clip is as portable as a pen and can be carried like one, too. They can be clipped onto a pocket or bag for easy access, while being completely bendable depending on your needs. The polycarbonate and urethane construction make the Ready Clip built to last (no more torn Apple cords!). The Ready Clip has three configurations: USB to Micro USB, USB to Mini USB, and USB to Apple's 30-pin connector. I really like these. The design is nice, minimal, and looks like it can take some abuse. Apple's stock charge and sync cables are hit-or-miss for me. I've lost a few over the years due to wear. Some of them never even left my desk, but still managed to fray and come apart either at the 30-pin end, or the USB end. Bad luck, perhaps? In any case, I feel like Ready Clips would shine the most while on the go. Pulling out a bunch of cables from your bag is never fun and putting them away is even worse, especially when in a hurry. If you're interested in getting a Ready Clip, it looks like you must buy at least two, with different sets available from $19.99-$29.99 (direct from AViiQ). Are Ready Clips right for you? Or, are you okay with Apple's offerings?
