Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: New Age Of Heroes Set To Launch Next Week

April 20, 2012
Capcom is keeping their fighting spirit alive. They are bringing Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: New Age Of Heroes to our beloved iDevices. Capcom has figured out a way to make Street Fighter IV and Street Fighter IV Volt work on iOS, so I expect nothing less than an amazing experience from their latest fighting game installment. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 first launched 12 years ago, and it is still one of the best fighting games I have ever played. Bringing two of the baddest groups of fighters together and seeing who was tougher is still downright awesome, and I expect it will be just as satisfying on my iDevice. The iOS version will feature 28 characters from the Marvel side of the equation and the same number from Capcom. That's 56 bruisers available for your smashing and destroying pleasure. If variety is something you look for in a fighting game, than you will love Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Of course, success or failure is going to come down to how well the game controls. Controls are important with any game, but with a fighting game you need more speed and precision than most. If the controls do not feel super smooth and responsive, it will be a huge disappointment. The game is expected to launch Wednesday, April 25, at 11 p.m. EDT. Source: Touch Arcade
