Buttons! ($0.99) by Brain Cloud Interactive is a unique new universal puzzle game that will have you searching around in drawers like mad. Rummage through the junk drawer for matches and see how many golden buttons you can find.
Your job is to help Penny fix her stuffed bunny, Kensington, by matching all of the buttons in a drawer. The faster you match them, the more points you earn. Some buttons rest on top of others and, if you match them in the wrong order, you won’t be able to get them all and you’ll have to start over.
On timed levels, players earn special gold buttons if they match everything in the drawer within a certain amount of time. The gold buttons are used to unlock the gold drawers, which are special levels that are harder, but yield more points. The goal of the game is to match all of the buttons in the gold drawers because that is where Kensington’s spares are kept.
Each level unlocks unique buttons for getting the highest possible score, which can be nearly impossible on some levels, even with a three-star score. The timed levels award gold buttons that accumulate to open the gold drawers. For example, to unlock the second gold drawer, players must have at least four gold buttons.
This is an exciting and entertaining puzzle game. The graphics are cute and the gameplay is exciting. Each level is more challenging than its predecessor. The replay value is high because you will want to get the highest score to unlock the unique buttons. I really don’t see anything wrong with it. Even the low price of $0.99 is remarkable for something with such a high value. I highly recommend it to puzzle game fans.
