Quirky App Of The Day: Sticky Words!

Sticky Words! is an app based on those refrigerator magnets that are just words. You can move and rearrange the words to make sentences, messages, or poetry. Aside from the occasional dirty limerick, it's also a fun game to play as a family. Sticky Words! even provides various pictures of refrigerators for you to arrange the magnets over. If fridges aren't your thing, there are also different colored backgrounds or the option to use a picture from your own photo gallery.
Sticky Words! already has a wide array of words in its word bank. By scanning the list, you can click on the word you want to appear on the fridge. If there's a word you want to use that isn't in the word bank, you can create it. I created the word "uppity." When you tap on the word, a gray box appears, and you can rotate the word in any direction.
One problem I have with the real magnets is the lack of multiples. If you want multiples of a word in Sticky Words!, you go to the word list, select the plus sign, and type in the word you want. It will add another of that word to the list. So, words like articles and prepositions will be able to be used more than once.
If you want to simply find some random words to play around with, there's the magnet box option. It isn't efficient for finding a particular word that you want. It's more beneficial when your just looking for any interesting word.
Unlike many apps that require both people to have the app to enjoy it, Sticky Words! allows you to share your masterpiece with friends whether they have the app or not. You can save the photo to your album and send it in a text message, use Twitter, or send it in an email.
